What is Emotional Intelligence (EI)?
Emotional Intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that collectively establish how well we perceive and express ourselves, and cope with challenges.
In this training, you will learn how to develop and maintain social relationships. You will also learn how to use EI to interact with others, solve problems, and improve performance.
Research shows that Emotional Intelligence has a reliable prediction of success in life because it is a tacit leadership skill for relating to people, communicating feedback, making pivotal decisions, and coping with environmental demands.
We will discuss how the five (5) composite scales of EI namely Self-Perception, Self-
Expression, Interpersonal, Decision Making, and Stress Management build on each other to assist leaders to use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way.
